SOSCH Are Recruiting a COMMUNITY-LED HOUSING CO-ORDINATOR (Empty homes and Buildings) – Scottish Borders

SOSCH is seeking a CLH Coordinator to provide support to the development and delivery of community-led housing projects in Scottish Borders (and prospectively other areas of Southeast Scotland).  This is a full-time post, jointly funded by Scottish Empty Homes Partnership and SOSCH. This role offers flexible home working (subject to agreement).

SOSCH is an award winning Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) that supports the planning and delivery of community-led housing and regeneration across the South of Scotland.  The post-holder will work as an integral part of the wider team.  The role will provide the opportunity to work on a range of community-led projects relative to existing buildings or empty homes, engaging with a range of key partners.

For this exciting opportunity, we are seeking application from individuals educated to degree level and/or with demonstrable relevant experience in one or more of the following areas – Affordable Housing, Community Development/Engagement, Project Management, Community Ownership / Land Reform, Business Planning, Funding, Research/Report Writing.
