SOSCH are recruiting a COMMUNITY-LED HOUSING CO-ORDINATOR (Southwest Scotland)

SOSCH is seeking a CLH Coordinator (0.5 FTE) to provide support to the development and delivery of community-led housing projects in Southwest Scotland (mainly Dumfries and Galloway).  This post will represent 50% job-share of a FT role, is funded by Nationwide Foundation and may offer flexible home working (subject to agreement).

SOSCH is an award winning Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) that supports the planning and delivery of community-led housing and regeneration across the South of Scotland.  Following an extensive period of Governance and Business Review, we converted to a new brand and structure in November 2020.  This new role – identified within our Business Plan (May 2021) – will further develop the project support role that has been in place for a number of years.  The post-holder will work as an integral part of the wider team and, as a job share, will work closely with the incumbent post-holder.  The role will provide the immediate opportunity to work on a range of current and new community-led projects.   

For this exciting opportunity, we are seeking application from individuals educated to degree level and/or with demonstrable relevant experience in one or more of the following areas – Affordable HousingCommunity Development/Engagement, Project Management, Community Ownership/Land Reform, Business Planning, Funding, Research/Report Writing.
